This is the worst stay I’ve ever had. The room is so run down it was disgusting. The shower head is loaded with grime and the pressure fees like razor blades slicing you. All the sinks were stopped it was disgusting. No one answers the phone, not to order food, not the front desk. It was the MOST annoying thing that I had to walk downstairs for every single thing! Then to get charged for a parking I did not stay. Definitely hated this place. The carpet was filthy it felt wet. Breakfast was closed early, no attendants in site, the bartender was missing for 10mins and seemed like he couldn’t be bothered. Overall terrible experience.

I traveled with my wife to visit my father in an elderly facility very close to the SpringHill Suites, about five minutes walking distance. We just stayed only one night there. As we arrived to the hotel from the airport mid-morning, it wasn’t the check-in time and the front desk allows to keep our luggage until the time comes. Coelo, the Front Desk Attendant/Concierge at the moment we arrived was very kind and professional. Then Thomas took care of us when we checked-in at the afternoon. I ask for a room overlooking south (I prefer those rooms, since I checked the other suites overlooking the Dolphin Expressway/I-395) and the view was really nice. Our suite, number 321, third floor we found it very clean, sanitized and plenty of space. I found convenient the separate toilet room from the shower room. The shower cabin had good water pressure and we found very spacious, even for two people. The closet had some wood hangers for shirts & pants, lots of space to keep clothing & shoes at hand. The breakfast in the morning was plenty of stuff; scrambled eggs (very tasty), pork sausage, bagels galore, great coffee (both bold and decaf), sweet apples and oranges; in fact, both my wife and me found the food very delicious. I gave five stars to the food. When the check-out time came, Coelo once again took care of us with a great smile. We return in a near future to the Springhill Suites Miami Downtown/Medical Center with high expectations. Kudos for all the staff. You guys rock!

It’s ok. Staff are friendly. It’s clean. The rooms are generous with a desk, coffee station & a microwave. Breakfast will harden your arteries unless you go for the fruit. But it’s free, so good value. The downside is that this hotel is in no man’s land. It’s literally not close to anything interesting. But $20 in an Uber and I was on South Beach. It’s a functional hotel & good value. Looking for somewhere to simply sleep when you’re not out exploring Miami? - then stay here. Looking for Miami style? - stay somewhere else.

Hidden charges and no refund after catching - Bad business practice!

This is a 1-star review because they charged me and didn't tell me about it upfront. Hidden fees!! When I checked in they said your room is already paid for through your booking on Expedia.com and asked me for my CC for incidentals and parking. Two days of parking at $23 a day. That's all I should have been charged. They gave me a card for two complimentary drinks at the bar (i didnt use - im on vacation with my 11 y/o son) and yoga class. The last time I checked, complimentary means free, not charge you and not tell you. I get two charges on my CC one for $94.54 and one for $20. So I call and there excuse is that it is stated on their website and on my receipt. So on my receipt from booking there is no mentioning of additional hotel charges. Also, when I checked in I received no receipt stating this, furthermore when I checked out they said "you are good to go" and no receipt again. No where was I told there were additional charges other than parking! So you scammed me. Would not refund the over charges. Referred to items that were not said or given. Update on the last one: we realized we put my new purse on top of the snacks. That should have been seen by the housekeeper. I called the hotel, they said they already compensated me with snacks so they can’t compensate me further. Terrible answer. Terrible and rude management team.
